I say finalish because I don’t really intend to stop working on my compositions and I may post some more updates. I don’t have too much more time though and I know I have to get my finished products on the table.
You only really need a what and a where, because the others seem to be really obvious.
Me.
On indepth night.
Because its indepth night and I’m supposed to show something.
I plan to have a large posterboard, mostly covered in pictures and the title of my project, with two brief pages about the process of composition and what I think about it. I was thinking I could have one page for people who didn’t know much about music that just outlined very basic parts, such as repitition and flow, and another page for people who knew more that would talk about chord changes dynamics and stuff.
The posterboard is mostly for visual effect. For my emminant person I didn’t have one. I only had a little sign. Nobody came because it was just me and my sign. This should draw more attention but I still want to give most information out orally myself, as I did with the emminant person.
To interact with my audiance and to better show them what I have done, I’ll have one to three (depending on the demand) computers with my music running on each of them. Hopefully I will be able to install finale reader on each of the computers (free and small application) which will let people actually read the sheet music as it scrolls past. Even for people who can’t read sheet music It will be more interesting than just an Mp3. If I can’t, an Mp3 will suffice. I would want three, because I could have one of my best finished songs on each without switching, and depending on how much traffic there is it could be necesary to have so many. No one is going to wait two minutes for the song, and no one is going to come if it looks like all the computers are in use. two minutes is quite a while and hopefully there will be many people interested.
I can just take a table somewhere. No preferance. Must have plugs.
